Sober Trip, The Brainerd Baxter Youth Center (aka The Shop)

Program goals are to support youth sobriety and reduce/prevent drug abuse among young people as well as improving community awareness regarding alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs in our community.

Community Life Line, Crisis Line and Referral Service

This program provides often life-saving intervention for people facing an emotional crisis. Many calls are from thosse who are depressed, experiencing anxiety, and those who feel
suicidal. The Community Life Line connects those in crisis with trained volunteers to assist and refer them to the necessary services.

General Crime Direct Services Program, Crow Wing County Victim Services

This program is the only one in Crow Wing County for general crime victims as well as male victims of sexual violence. The program provides assistance to victims throughout the
court process and can act as the voice of the victim during the court process so the victim does not need to travel.

Pink Ribbon Cupboard, ECHC Foundation

This program was established to relieve the stress of patients undergoing treatment for breast cancer by providing non-medical financial assistance to those in need. The program has provided
funds for gas and grocery cards, rent and mortgage payments, utility bills, car payments, household needs, property taxes, and other non-medical expenses.

Community Advocacy , Family Safety Network

This program provides services and support for victims of domestic violence and has a mission of providing services and building relationships to keep all families safe. Their goal is to increase the
safety of vicitms and ensure they have access to services that meet their self-defined needs, as well as helping to improve the lives of domestic violence victims and their families.

Counseling, Lutheran Social Service - Brainerd

The goal of this program is to support the mental health and full functioning of uninsured and underinsured residents.

Senior Nutrition & Meals on Wheels, Lutheran Social Service - Brainerd

The primary goal is to help as many seniors as possible continue living in their own homes and age with dignity and independence by providing them with nutritious meals, fellowship opportunities,
advocacy, educational and recreational activities, and information about other senior services and community programs.

Caregiver Support & Respite Care, Lutheran Social Service - Brainerd

This program helps provide respite for those providing in-home care to chronically ill or elderly loved ones. Volunteers give family caregivers an opportunity for respite so they can tend to their own
emotional and physical needs to better continue in their role as caregiver.

Mounted Eagles, Inc.

Mounted Eagles provides therapeutic horsemanship to persons with physical, mental, and emotional challenges. This program allows those with challenges to fully participate in activities where they
may not have otherwise been able.

Family Center Home Visiting, Pine River-Backus Family Center

The two goals for this program are for children and families to be safe, nutured and healthy and for children to arrive at school ready to learn. This is done through weekly home visits to families to
respond to the unique needs of each family, build on family strengths, and empower parents.

Prescription Medication Program, The Salvation Army

This program helps those in a short-term financial crisis get the life-saving prescription medications they need.

Prevention Education, Sexual Assault Services

The primary focus of this program is awareness, and ultimately prevention, of sexual assault. Through this program, free presentations and professional trainings are provided to increase awareness
of this issue in an effort to eliminate sexual violence in our community. Sexual Assault Services serves Crow Wing County.

Reduce the Impact & Harm of Sexual Violence in Cass County, Support Within Reach

This program helps those impacted by sexual violence return to a sense of normalcy and increase safety. Support Within Reach maintains a crisis/information line staffed by trained sexual assault
advocates and, with United Way funding, serves Cass County.
