Community Outpatient Program: Mental Health Expansion, Minnesota Teen Challenge

The goal for this program is to meet the demand for mental health services of clients in the area and a quick and comprehensive manner. 

Peers Reaching Out, Central Lakes College Foundation

Peers Reaching Out is a model of peer engagement to initiate a college-wide conversation about mental health with the goals of increasing awareness about mental health and eliminating the stigma surrounding the topic and increasing access to mental health services at the college and from partner community services. 

Transportation Program, Breath of Life Adult Day Service

This program provides transportation to and from the Breath of Life facility in order for participants to engage in meaningful activities.

Sponsorship Program, Breath of Life Adult Day Service

The mission is to provide a homelike setting and encourage, caring atmosphere and activities to stimulate the mind, body, and spirit. 

Transportation, Faith in Action Cass County

This program increases access to regular, reliable transportation to and from medical appointments from volunteers who are trained on diversity and sensitivity, poverty, and dementia.  

Community Advocacy, Family Safety Network

This program provides services and support for victims of domestic violence and has a mission of providing services and building relationships to keep all families safe. Their goal is to increase the safety of victims and ensure they have access to services that meet their self-defined needs, as well as helping to improve the lives of domestic violence victims and their families.

Mounted Eagles, Inc.

Mounted Eagles provides therapeutic horsemanship to persons with physical, mental, and emotional challenges. This program allows those with challenges to fully participate in activities where they
may not have otherwise been able.

Family Center Home Visiting, Pine River-Backus Family Center

The two goals for this program are for children and families to be safe, nurtured and healthy and for children to arrive at school ready to learn. This is done through weekly home visits to families to
respond to the unique needs of each family, build on family strengths, and empower parents.
