Llama Llama Read-o-Rama celebrates reading and childhood literacy, and funds raised at the event through raffles and free will donations will support our local Imagination Library program. The Lakes Area United Way is committed to set up local children with a foundation for success as they enter Kindergarten, and has been the local affiliate of Dolly Parton's Imagination Library since 2004. Imagination Library offers books to children from newborn to age 5 at no cost to families. The books are age appropriate and are mailed once a month directly to children living in Crow Wing, Cass, and Aitkin Counties.
