Our local food shelves are stepping up and working together through the Stock the Shelves Food Drive. They serve families in every part of the county: Pequot Lakes, Garrison, Crosby-Ironton, Emily, Crosslake, and Brainerd. These are the places people turn when things get tight. And right now, they need us to have their backs.
Every dollar, every can, and every box of food helps someone right here at home. It keeps a parent from skipping a meal. It helps a senior stay healthy. It gives a kid something to eat before or after school. For a family that is already stretched thin, that means everything.
All monetary donations go to the Lakes Area United Way and will be split evenly among our county food shelves.
Even a small amount makes a real difference.
