Operation Sandwich

This is a free summer meal program that helps bridge the gap for kids who don't get the meals they need during the summertime when school lunch is not available.
The program is offered Monday - Thursdays at area schools and parks and is welcome to anyone within the community.

Resource Connection Services, Bridges of Hope

The program serves as a connection point between those with a short-term need or crisis and available resources with the goal of improving family stability, empowering households
to solve their own problems, reducing service duplication, improving agency collaboration, and increasing efficiency. In 2014, this program served 2,265 households.

Care N Share Cafe

This program's mission is to help feed the hungry, promote community, help with the loneliness of our elderly and young families, as well as to promote volunteerism for the good
of our communities. Care N Share Cafe serves over 200 meals per week to citizens of Emily and surrounding communities.

Cuyuna Range Food Shelf

The program aims to provide 3-4 days worth of groceries to all who request assistance from the food shelf. In 2014, Cuyuna Range Food Shelf distributed over 13,000 pounds of food
serving nearly 200 households per month.

Lakes Area Food Shelf

This Nisswa area food shelf provides three days worth of emergency meals two times per month to those in need. They currently serve nearly 600 families per month.

Financial Counseling, Lutheran Social Service - Brainerd

This program provides assistance to those in tough financial situations by helping clients set up a reasonable budget, pay down debts, become current on their home mortgage, and
develop a plan for a healthier financial future. Financial counselors aim to reduce clients stress and provide greater financial stability.

Hope Housing, Lutheran Social Service - Brainerd

This program places a priority on preventing homelessness by keeping people in their existing housing. For those already homeless, assistance is available to find alternative and
affordable housing. Budgeting and tenancy skills are taught to program participants to help ensure stable and sustainable housing.

Journey Transitional Housing, Lutheran Social Service - Brainerd

The goals of this program are to alleviate homelessness for youth ages 16-21 years; provide youth with opportunities to gain safe, affordable housing in the community; provide youth
with hands-on skills training to gain necessary self-sufficiency skills; and provide youth with healthy adult connections.

Family Development, Pillager Family Council

This program includes a food shelf and family support and helps families meet their basic needs.
