Lakes Area Team Challenge
Just in time to start the year off right, Lakes Area Team Challenge will be held January 12 – March 9, 2010. We invite you to get involved, have fun, and set in motion a healthier lifestyle through education, nutrition, and fitness.
Gather up a team of six or find a buddy, register and join us at the kick off event on Tuesday, January 12, 2010 from 11-1pm or 4-6 pm at Westgate Mall in Baxter.
Money raised from the challenge is directly applied to programs in Crow Wing and Cass County that promote healthy lifestyles for our children and instill healthy habits they will carry forward into adulthood. In the four years of Lakes Area Team Challenge over 700 people have taken initiative of their health and dedicated time to make our community strong and healthy. We have trimmed our community by over 5000 pounds!
Only a $25 per person donation is required to participate! Registration forms and donations can be submitted to United Way by January 11 or at the kick off event.
